Dear Mr and Mrs Antognelli,
On the eve of the expedition
on which you are about to embark around the coast of
Greenland, I would like to assure you of my encouragement
and my support.
You have chosen, by means of
a trip by sea kayak almost 1,000 kilometres long, to come as
close as possible to this exceptional part of nature, all
the while respecting the ecosystems, and in harmony with the
ancient traditions of its people.
I am sure that you will
return enriched by an extraordinary experience, which will
allow you to bear witness to the dangers which threaten this
region of the world, and to the awareness required to
preserve this unique heritage.
