April 27th, 2009 - The municipality of Monaco
with us
Making following the presentation a few days
earlier, of the project in front of the Maire of
Monaco, the Municipal council has already to
support us in our initiative. In addition to a
participation on our budget, we will have
mission of giving to the authorities of the
three (large) crossed cities, of developing
memories of Monaco. One of them will be given on
June 21st, 2009, day of the celebrations of the
reinforced autonomy of Greenland, in a small
village, in the south of Upernavik.

25 - April 26th, 2009 - Formation first aid
To perfect our knowledge and to act as well as
possible in the event of urgency, we devote two
full days for a formation first aid. Large a
thank you with Annie and Nina, teams of the Red
Cross Monegasque which, with patience,
perseverance and good mood, trained us and were
interested in our project.

April 24th, 2009 - Mission accomplished
Company DB Schenker passes the relai to Royal
Arctic Line to convey the loading for Greenland.
The large one of the material is charged in a
container bound for Upernavik, starting place of
our forwarding. A small pallet will await us on
Uummannaq, to two thirds of the course. Company
dB Schenker carried out its mission perfectly.
Large a thank you with all the team.

April 21st, 2009 - It left
8:30, under a rainy sky, and in less than 15
minutes, our material recovered per DB Schenker,
leaves Monaco, direction the Ferry with Aalborg.
A page of our program is turned.

17 - April 21st, 2009 - When all holds in limps
For one month, we have lived with the daily
newspaper in the middle of all our gear. At a
few days of removal, we pack each object
méticuleusement. A carton with imposing
dimensions 118 X 0,78 X 0,87 will be our male of
transport. The 20 at the evening, considering
the imposing weight of our effects (more than
120 kg), the parcel is outside made up on a
pallet, ready to be removed.

April 16th, 2009 - DB Schenker passes to the
action
Our partner DB Schenler elects one of his teams
of Birmingham to recover the two kayaks with
Holyhead in Wales, sits of Seakayaking the U.K.
to convey them for Paris where they will be
grouped with the whole of our material before
being sent on the port of Aalborg to Denmark,
starting place of the door container for
Greenland. In the evening, we receive by email,
the first photographs of our kayaks,
méticuleusement packed bubble pack. |

April 14th, 2009 - Goes down for hearing with
the Princely Palate
17h00. HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco receives us in
private audience in order to detail our project
to him. During this maintenance, the objective,
the goal and the local problems of our program
are evoked. Confirmation is given to us that the
project "Testimonys" through its communication
and publicity campaign, falls under the same
step as the Foundation that it chairs. |

April 13rd, 2009 - Ultimate control
By an phone interview with Dave, the foreman of
Nigel, Seakayaking the U.K., we point by point
carry out a checking of the kayaks according to
the options requested, and check mainly the
respect of the dimensions our lengths of legs.
This detail makes it possible as well as
possible to optimize the interior volume of the
kayaks. This step is essential to avoid bad
surprise, because we will discover the material

April 12th, 2009 Bag seals for rifle.
When well even the chances to meet an polar bear
on course 2009 are very weak, we do not neglect
therefore the danger to our safety and, in
ultimate recourse, we envisage to acquire as of
our arrival on Upernavik, a rifle with pump.
This last, for questions of dimension, will be
able to travel only on the bridge of the kayak,
an adapted tight bag is thus essential for us.
Minor problems, this product are untraceable in

15 - March 31st, 2009 - Transport and
preparations
On this second part of March, many uncertainties
remain, with the example of the thorny question
of the recovery of the kayaks in Wales, in the
United Kingdom. Contacts with conveyers are in
hand, but nothing is validated. The stress
starts to be felt. Parallel to that, the
preparations continue. We are in less than one
month of the sending of the material on Denmark
and nothing must be forgotten. At regular
intervals, orders and deliveries follow one
another. The house is transformed into warehouse
where pile up material in all kinds.

March 26th, 2009 - With the form
Olivier, director of Monaco Decathlon assure us
that it will help us. A few days later, its
prudence can be encouraged by the projection of
the project, is concretized by a true
partnership in the form of supply of GPS, with
cartography and of a Spot system making it
possible to return our position on our Internet
site. |

March 24th, 2009 - The satellite solution
Mr Ferrua, founder of company NAYA brings his

U.K.

Succeeding famous speakers, the ethnologist Jean
Malaurie, the writer traveller Emmanuel Hussenet,
the glaciologist Claude Lorius, we in our turn
are invited to present to the public of this
festival Polar Nights our project. Appointment
is taken for the next year. |

12 - March 15th, 2009 - A festival of meetings
The one weekend time, we carry out a
displacement on Paris to attend the Festival of
the Polar Nights, organized at the
Oceanographical Institute by Far North Big wide.
Projections, presentations and discussions with
their authors are of a great interest for the
preparation of our voyage.

March 12th, 2009 - Our tent of America
On this tour, lodging will be done exclusively
under tent, a product of quality and thus
essential. For a few years, Saivo, from
Hilleberg, has given us whole satisfaction. The
whole of our material, having to remain on
Greenland, it is necessary for us to acquire
another of them. It is the US section of the
mark Suédoise, which after telephone file and

project. Satisfaction! They are our paddles
preferred since many years. |

February 25th, 2009 - Nigel Refusals, a great
name of the kayak of sea
Nigel having asked us for a little time to
analyze our file, we recall it like agreed over
this day. After two small precise details, its
answer is positive. Its company "SeaKayaking the
U.K." is ready to help us and will produce the 2
kayaks of forwarding. |

PacificAction, the Australian company
specialized in the clothes industry of veils for
kayaks and canoes assure us his support by the
supply of veils for our colors. |

Friday, February 20, 2009 - First favorable
answer
The American equipment supplier Kokatat,
specialized in technical clothing of kayak is
very interested by our images and our program.
Once the finalized methods of our partnership,
tight combinations, life jackets, anoraks and
other small equipment are sent to us. |

11 February 18th, 2009 - The file
We work a good part of the week to the
realization and the sending of the file of
presentation. We allot the title of "Testimonys
to him, with the listening of the Greenlandic
people".
Once finished, this presentation is addressed to
private companies or structures being able to
have a bond common to our initiative, and being
likely to help us. Very quickly we are surprised
by the passion which this project causes. |

January 2009 - Which approach?
The Greenland project was programmed since more
than one year. At this beginning of year, a good
snowing up favourable with our physical
preparation, enables us to carry out several
stays of cross-country skiing in preparation for
our tour. At this period, the interrogations
related more to the fact of communicating or not
on the project before its effective realization.
Spent one study period, we choose the formula
consisting in announcing the program to come. |
