Spitzberg, which had not been explored until
then. The ties which bind the Monaco
Oceanographic Museum to the Arctic accordingly
date back to the expeditions of its founder,
which still today bear witness to the changes in
the climate and the urgency of protecting the
marine environment. It was therefore quite
natural that the Monaco Oceanographic Museum

The oldest institution in Monaco, the Town Hall
follows the inhabitants of the Principality in
their daily lives. Apart from the traditional
