One Week in Upernavik

	June 1st, holiday here too. The weather is nice and we let us benefit from it to make it tower of the city. Some people in the ground streets. Our let us bring the kayak in a heated workshop, so that the resin and the gelcoat can dry under good conditions. But it is a work which takes several days, because it should be waited until that dries between each stage.
	We benefit from it to buy a rifle in the event of defense, especially against the polar bears. Normally, they follow the ices, which are currently much more in north, but in the event of unexpected meeting, it is necessary for us to have a rifle. Here, everyone agree with us. The person has who we buy rifle is a hunter. The winter, with sled dogs, on the ice-barrier which is less and less thick, and the remainder of the year in motor boat.
	We will visit the Museum of Upernavik, where one can see the hunter in seal skin, behind his sledge, as well as authentic kayaks, beautiful seal skins.
	In Upernavik, following the fire of the thermo plant, there was no more electricity nor of water in all the city. The generator of replacement fell also broken down. The delivery of water was done by the truck which came to supply each water house. Here, each one has its freezer, and everyone was made concern. A new generator arrived of Uummannaq. All returned in the order.
	We show a turn on water in order to if the distribution of our kayaks is good.  We must distribute weight a little more on the front one.
	Sunday, June 7, it snows well, the wind is rather strong of Western south. It makes 0°. The visibility varies throughout the day. An improvement is awaited.
